Obituary of Mark L. McElroy

Mark L. McElroy of Milford, died suddenly on December 14, 2024 at home.  He was 64 years old. 

The son of the late Larry and Julia (Ann) McElroy, he was born on July 3, 1960 in Port Jervis, NY. 

Mark was a proud graduate of Penn State University, a place he instilled in his children.  Mark would go on in a career of formative education as a teacher and school administration.  He worked for the Delaware Valley School district and retired as an Assistant Principal of the Middle School.  

His children wish for their father to be remembered as selfless, caring for those around him and just an all around good man. 

Beloved father of Jenna McElroy and Trevor McElroy.  Dear brother of Julie McElroy, Kelly Buda (Mike) and Becky Fuller (Roger).  Mark was an uncle, friend and colleague of many who will be missed. 

Cremation will take place privately and final inurnment will be in the family plot of Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mark’s memory to the Pike County or the Port Jervis Deerpark Humane Society.
