The words of his son Andrew Ward.....

"We are heartbroken by the sudden passing of my dad, but more importantly, we are grateful that his life touched ours. My dad embodied the spirit of Aloha. He was many things in his life: a son, dad, gramps, world traveler, 50-stater, hippie, Boy Scout, poet, historian, mentor, sandcastle builder, Shawangunk pony creator, fraternity brother, believer, American picker, artist, teacher, adventurer, air mattress man of the ocean, fisherman, parader, supporter, and friend. We love and miss you, Aloha DAD."

Beloved husband of Penelope Ward.  Devoted father of Andrew Ward (Paola), Cassie Ward, Natasha Wozniak (Michael), Kijrstin Vargas (Antonio), Emily Greco (Chris) and Thomas Taylor.  Cherished grandfather of Aidan, Noah, Autumn Pearl, Sebastian, Brianna and Cristian
