Gary was also a supporter of the national Irish freedom committee. He will be greatly missed. Photo I posted below is of Gary and myself on April 28, 2019 on the day he received the annual Flannery Award for outstanding service for the cause of Irish freedom. R.I.P.

I am so sorry for the loss of Gary. I have known Gary a long time. We had so many talks in Messenger about our Heritage and Ancestry. We were both conviced we are related since McKeon's are in both of our Ancestry's. You will be dearly Missed, Gary. Love and Prayers to yuor wife and family.

Gary was there for me always. I have never met anyone like him. I remember one time in particular that says so much. He hadn’t seen me in a few months when he walked up to me (in The Sub Shop) grabbed me by both shoulders, looked me in the eye and asked me how I was. It doesn’t sound like much but at that moment I realized no one had ever asked me that before and truly meant it.

Condolences to all of Gary's family. A brilliant Irish Patriot and a fellow descendant from Tipperary, plus a soulful blues harp player. I remember videotaping performances of the Lucky 7 Blues Band and airing on Accesd 8 TV. Return to the earth my friend and thanks for all the memories.
