Obituary of George Calderone

George Calderone, age 94 of Montague, New Jersey passed away, Monday, January 17, 2022 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was born on July 2, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Frederick and Marion Klein and Marino Calderone. George proudly served our country with the US. Merchant Marines. He retired as a supervisor with the Dept. of Social Services for the City of New York. George was devoted church member and volunteer at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Gilbert, PA. He lived a life of love, kindness and family devotion. George is survived by his wife of 60 years, Catherine Regan Calderone at home, his children; Laura and her husband Joel, Gail, Gary, Ralph and his wife Maria, Theresa and her husband Eric, Patricia and her husband Charles, Marion, Carol and her husband Michael. He is also a cherished grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather and uncle. George was pre-deceased by his daughter, Anna, his three sons; George, James, Cliffy and his brother Murray.
