Obituary of Barbara H. Stagg

Barbara H. Stagg, age 86 of Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away July 6, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 21, 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Biaggio and Margaret Corcoran Ferrara. Barbara retired as a counselor from The Domestic Abuse and Rape Crisis Center in Belvidere, New Jersey, after many years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church of Matamoras. Barbara was married first to the late Donald Tillou and second to the late George A. Stagg. She is survived by her two daughters; Veronica Adames and her husband Jerry of Milford, Pennsylvania and Nicol Tillou of Maywood, New Jersey, her beloved three grandchildren; Matthew Adames, Marcus Adames, and Angelita Adames, her two great grandchildren; Kassidy and Mack Adames. Barbara was pre-deceased by her son, Everett “Jimmy” Tillou. Memorial services will be held 1 PM, Saturday, September 25, at the United Methodist Church of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, 209 Ave H, Matamoras, PA. Pastor Diane Sommers will officiate.
