Obituary of Lawrence Leonard, Sr.

Lawrence “Joe” Leonard, Sr., age 57 of Godeffroy, NY passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was born on July 31, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, NY. Joe enjoyed riding his Harley in the summer and taking long drives in his “55”. He worked as self employed mechanic from Brooklyn, who lived his life to the fullest. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Joe was a devoted and loving father to his sons; Lawrence Leonard, Jr., and Joshua Leonard, his daughters; Annemarie and Amanda, his beloved grandson, KJ, whom he loved more than life itself. Joe will be missed by many, many, friends and family members who loved him dearly. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
