Obituary of Kathleen Conroy

Kathleen “K.T.B.” Conroy age 67, of Matamoras, PA, passed away December 25, 2021 in Port Jervis, NY. She was born on February 7, 1954 in Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Thomas and Joan Conroy. Kathleen owned and operated Country Cuttings Hair Salon in Matamoras until her retirement. She enjoyed helping others and was a volunteer for the Port Jervis Salvation Army. Kathleen is survived by her loving long time companion, Joseph J. Rosencrance. She is also survived by her sisters; Jeanne Conroy- Harrison and her husband Jay of Milford, NY; Susan Conroy-Mandzy and her husband Michael of Matamoras; her brothers Thomas Conroy, Jr. and his wife Erica of Verona, NJ; Steven Conroy of Saddle Brook, NJ; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dearest friends Tommy, Kathy and Julie and Sharon, who was an angel to K.T.B. over the last few years. Kathleen was pre-deceased by her brother Christopher Patrick Conroy and her beloved pet dogs and cats. Joseph Rosencrance and the Conroy family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctor’s, Nurses and Staff in the Med. Surge and Emergency Departments at Bon Secours Hospital for their compassionate and professional care shown to Kathleen during her stay. Visitation will be held 12:30 PM-1:30 PM, Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Knight-Auchmmody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 PM, Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating. Interment will follow at Mill Rift Cemetery in Mill Rift, PA. Casual attire is requested. Masks must be worn at all times for entry into the funeral home.
