John and Pat became our neighbors in 2019 and we became friends soon after. John always enjoyed teaching me about the Dingmans Ferry area and landscaping. He called the rocks in the ground, found everywhere in our neighborhood "Pennsylvania potatoes" and always had a warm smile on his face. He was a great resource for all kinds of services we needed when we arrived in our new home. An avid landscaper, his yard was impeccable and well kept. He will always have a special place in our memories and heart. May he rest in peace.

Cousin Anthony’s tribute to Cousin John :
It took me a while to accept the fact that my young Cousin, John Bibbo has
left this life and is now reunited with all his loved ones who passed on before
him . As most of you know, John was a twin, and the memory and love he bore
for his twin sister, Corrine, was a constant and never ending love .
Sadly, Corinne was not destined to a long life . She died as a result of a tragic accident
at a very young age . Never the less , John has always kept the memory of his beloved Corrine,
saved and treasured in a safe spot in his heart .
I am seven years older than my dear cousin, John, and as such I have a plethera
of fond memories regarding those two lovable twins. One of which is as follows “
John and family lived on the second floor of a two family house. A long wooden stairway
had to be climbed to get to the apartment. Each school day, my Dad would drop me off at
aunt Anna’s, so she could bring Millie and me to school. AND each time I arrived, Aunt Anna
would tell the two toddlers that “ Anthony is coming—-go hide and surprise him “
WELL, the twins were so excited and giggling so loud that as they were hiding beside
the “ice box” , that I couldn’t help but surmise exactly where they were .
Never the less, I was as happy to be “surprised” as the twins were to surprise me .
Precious, precious memories I have always cherished .
As John was growing up, we were neighbors. He lived on West Clifford Place and I worked at
West Clifford Place and we saw a lot of each other. John was not your ordinary youngster.
He was , even at a young age , a hard and determined worker, Smart and industrious .
When he was a young teenager, he took a part time job at a wholesale candy store supplier.
Within two years, the owner wanted John to join the company, full time and as assistant
manager. He worked in several fields of the economy and true to form excelled in each.
Fare Well Dear Cousin . Thanks for being in my life. I love you and , till we meet again ,
keep those poker players on their toes .————————Anthony Colarusso

John tried so many times to stop smoking. Many of us know how hard that is! I smoked and he and I would sneak off and have a cigarette during a family get-together. When it rained, we’d hide in the garage. He had such a wonderful personality and was very funny. I remember laughing and laughing with him. He was an unbelievably caring person and was a wonderful husband, father and friend. I will miss him.
To the Sittig and Bibbo families, I am so very sorry for loss. Sending lots of love to you … today and always.
Cousin Kathy

We are deeply saddened to learn of John’s passing. We will always treasure the many memories shared during family gatherings. John, so clearly, loved and cherished his family. He had a mischievous twinkle in his eyes and a generous smile. One of our happiest memories took place during a weekend visit to the Bibbo home in PA. We had so much fun together at the lake and had many laughs. We remember watching some of the summer Olympics together during that wonderful visit. Now as we watch the current Olympic Games, we’ll reflect on that special time years ago.
To Pat and all of the family we send heartfelt condolences. May you find comfort in your faith and the support of all who love you. John is sure to be with you, dancing and celebrating during the joyous occasions within the next few days. We hope you feel love, peace and joy. Your John/Dad/Poppop is now with our John amidst the angels!
Love,
The Bjorn Davis family
