Robert O. Bogen Obituary

Robert O. Bogen of Holbrook, NY died peacefully on December 10, 2024 at St. Luke's Bucks Upper Campus.  He was 75. 


The son of the late Odd S. and Veronica Bogen, he was born on October 27, 1949 in Port Jervis, NY. 


After graduating from Port Jervis high School Bob went on to join the US Navy.  Upon returning home he continued his life of service, serving with the Port Jervis Police Department.  He then would go on to serve the Suffolk County Police Department from which he retired from after many dedicated years.  Bob was the past President and member of the Suffolk County Emerald Society and a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.  


In addition to his parents Bob was predeceased in life by his sister Maryanne Ripel. 


Beloved husband of Ginger Bogen.  Devoted father of Christopher Bogen with his wife Kelly.  Grandfather of Breck & Trey Flannery.  Dear brother of Carol DiGiantommaso with her husband Jeff.  Brother in law of Ansel Ripel.  


A visitation will be held on Friday 12/13 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00PM at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home.  Final viewing Saturday from 8:45 to 9:15AM at the Funeral Home.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 9:30AM at St. Mary's RC Church, Port Jervis.  Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery Sparrowbush.
