I adored Joan. She was my first partner at our neighborhood dine out and frequent canasta partner. She was a sweet lady and will be missed here in Sun City. My condolences to all her family. Lil Dembek

When Joan & Fred moved into the home next to us in South Carolina 20 years ago, our initial thought was that we'd have preferred to have a younger couple next door. Little did we know how God was working in our lives at that time. We quickly became fast friends and have been truly blessed by our "extended family" relationships for many years. I am honored and privileged to have known and spent time with my dear friend, Joanie. We shared many a Sunday church service together, including brunch afterwards, and of course a good glass of wine or cocktail just for good measure. I consider her a cherished friend and confidant. I will miss her terribly but know that she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.. How sweet that she will also be greeted by Brad and Fred when she arrives in Heaven.
