Michael Gopoian, age 67 of Port Jervis, NY passed away November 2, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 6, 1954 in Everett, Massachusetts, the son of Michael and Phyllis DiPietro Gopoian. Michael worked as a union carpenter. He married Nadira Singh, who passed away one day after him on November 3, 2021. He is survived by his mother and father Phyllis and Michael Gopoian of Stratham, New Hampshire, his three sisters; Geraldine Desjardins of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Lauretta Catalano and her husband Patrick of Georgetown, Massachusetts, Susan Anthony of Haverhill, Massachusetts, two nephews and four nieces. Visitation will beheld 2-3 PM, Thursday, November 11, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Services will follow at 3 PM, Thursday at the funeral home with Rev .Matthew Newcomb officiating. Cremation will take place at the HG Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorials Processing, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St.Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
