John J. Amato a lifetime resident of Port Jervis died on November 2, 2024 at Home. He was 64 years old.
The son of the late Ameillo J. and Marilyn Amato, he was born on May 3, 1960 in Port Jervis.
As a young child Johnny was fascinated on how things worked from clocks to Engines and would take clocks apart to put them back together He was a die hard Giants Fan and was involved in Little league, Pop Warner and many other sports . Johnny will forever known as an “ Acre Boy” and was loved by many .
Father of John J. Amato, Amiello J. Amato and Nicholas Amato. Dear brother of Nancy Amato, Joseph Amato his wife Judith, Eileen Zepf her husband Matthew and Michelle Margarum with her husband Tracy. John was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Services are private at this time. Cremation took place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.
