Rebecca L. Conklin of Port Jervis died on October 2, 2024 at St. John's Riverside Hospital, Yonkers.  She was only 45.  

The daughter of Richard and Betty Conklin, she was born on September 22, 1979 in Port Jervis. 

Her family will always remember her as the sweetest and most kind daughter, mother, sister and "nana".   She was the life of the party and her early absence will leave a void that can never be filled.  

Beloved mother of Preston Simonson and Alyssa Simonson (Brandon Dickerson).  Cherished daughter of Richard and Betty Conklin.  Dear sister of Richard Conklin Jr. and Michael Conklin (Jorja).  Nana of Ryan, Dawson and Kinsley.  Granddaughter of Mary Conklin.  Aunt of Ayden Conklin. Best friend of Gwen Oliver.  Rebecca will be missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Visitation Monday 10AM to 12Noon at Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home.  Immediately following the visitation burial will take place at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville.
