Lynn Davenport Holocher "LynnieLu" of Port Jervis died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on September 30, 2024.  She was 71.

The daughter of the late Lester and Carmella Davenport, she was born on June 21, 1953 in Port Jervis.

Lynn was a woman of enormous talent, naturally gifted for the Arts.  Her creative imagination flowed through the pen in poetry, swirled from a paintbrush while painting or rippled through her fingers while playing the piano.

Though the matriarch is gone, she leaves an indelible mark on her family from her insirpational strong will to her deep faith that not only sustained her but also them.  She was whimsical, sarcastic and fiercely imaginative, infusing love in all that she did.

Her husband Gary said he lost his best friend, soulmate and love of his life when Lynn took her last breath.

In addition to her parents Lynn was predeceased in life by her sister and life long best friend Gail Paliotta and her aunt Rosie Wentz.

Beloved wife of Gary Holocher.  Devoted mother of Jeremiah Manegold (Toni Marie), Jessee Manegold and Joseph Manegold (Michelle).  Dear Oma of Zackery and Jeslyn.  Sister in law of Don Holocher.  Cherished aunt of Melissa Paliotta - Ogno, Ryan Kean along with her other nieces and nephews.

Services are private at this time.  Cremation took place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.

The family wishes to acknowledge the extraordinary care provided by the Hospice of Orange and Sullivan in Lynn's final days.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New York Cancer Foundation 20 Ramsey Road Shirley NY 11967.
