Obituary of Pauline E. Schultz

Pauline E. Schultz a lifelong resident of the area passed away on September 29, 2024 at home.  She was 86.

The daughter of the late Angelo and Elizabeth Graziano, she was born on October 9, 1937 in Port Jervis.  

Pauline was a dedicated Registered Nurse.  Her career began at St. Francis Hospital in Port Jervis serving as an operating room nurse.  As her family grew she turned to private practice nursing in order to be the devoted wife and mother that she was, working for Dr. Murray and then Doctors James & Charles Umhey.  Pauline also served as a Councilwoman for the City of Port Jervis.  Her baking and caring for others were well known throughout the community.

In addition to her parents Pauline was predeceased in life by her husband Theodore Schultz and her sister Susan Morgan.  

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her long-time companion Robert Lehn;  her two sons and their spouses Angelo Schultz and his wife Terri Morris, Ted Schultz and his wife Sue;  grandchildren Jessica Schultz-Nguyen, Tiffany Schultz and Kayla Chadwick-Schultz; sister Teri Sheard; brother Ed Graziano; and several nieces and nephews.  

A visitation will take place on Saturday 10/5 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at the Knight Auchmoody Funeral Home.  A service of remembrance will take place at 2:00PM at the Funeral Home.  Cremation to be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Orange-Sullivan County.
