Obituary of Gladys L. Wells

Gladys L. Wells, age 95 passed away on September 23, 2024 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Port Jervis, NY.

The daughter of the late Marlin W.L. and Clara Hackenburg Boop, she was born on January 16, 1929 in Mifflinburg, PA.

A member of the Drew United Methodist Church, she was an active member of many of the church's groups. She worked side by side with her late husband, Philip at their business Wells, Tobacco, Candy and Paper Products, Inc. in Port Jervis, NY.

Surviving are her daughter Nancy Duvinski and husband Edward, her son Donald Wells and wife Tommye.  In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brothers, Wayne Boop, Mahlon Boop and Logan Boop.

As per her wishes services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  A private interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush.  

The family would like to thank al the staff at S.t Joseph's Nursing Home, where she was treated like family and received kind, considerate care. She truly loved each and every one of them.
