Patricia M. Wagner a lifetime resident of Port Jervis, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 23, 2024, her son and daughter were by her side.  Pat was 95.

Born on January 2, 1929 in Port Jervis, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Hoar. 

She retired as the supervisor of the Port Jervis High School cafeteria.  Upon her retirement she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.   

Pat will be remembered as a wonderful and thoughtful mom and grandma.  She had a welcoming smile for all and a servant’s heart, helping anyone in need.  Pat’s life modeled her deep faith in Jesus and she enjoyed serving others in church throughout the years. 

In addition to her parents Pat was predeceased by her husband William A. Wagner Sr., daughter in law Gale Wagner, son in law Bruce Leary and her five brothers and sisters.

Beloved mom of William A. Wagner Jr. and Donna W. Leary.  Cherished grandma of Dr. Jeffrey Leary his wife Kim, Jennifer Gelatt her husband Miles, Jeremy Leary his wife Betsy and Jessica Smith with her husband Ray.  Great grandmother of 12.  She will be missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10AM to 12:00PM at the KNIGHT – AUCHMOODY Funeral Home.  A service will take place 12Noon at the Funeral Home, Pastor Butch Gilpin officiating.  Following services burial will take place in the family plot at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville. 

In lieu of flowers and in Pat’s memory the family requested donations be made to Hope Evangelical Free Church  300 First Street Matamoras PA 18336.
