Lucy I. Brown Obituary
Lucy I. Brown, a lifelong resident of Glen Spey, died peacefully at home on August 15, 2024. She was 101.
The daughter of the late Albert Sr. and Lillian Donahue, she was born on March 16, 1923 in Glen Spey, NY.
Lucy worked for many years as a Postal Clerk for the Eldred Post Office.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in life by her husband Leonard H. Brown, Sr., her sisters Adele Goble and Nellie Hjerrild, brothers Albert "Don", George, and Lester "Chapy" Donahue.
Dear sister of Lena Kent and John "Wick" Donahue. Beloved mother of Leonard H. Brown, Jr.(Sue); Lucy was a Loving Grandmother to Lisa Waian (Shayne) and Kristina Brodmerkel (DJ), and Dear Great Grandmother to Marcus Waian, Derek Waian, and Colton Brodmerkel.
Cremation took place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium in Milford, PA.
