Mr. Joe and family, I am so sorry to hear this news. I absolutely loved Mrs. Mary here at The Bank of Clarendon in Manning, SC. When we opened the Wyboo bank for Mrs. Mary she and I enjoyed many days of work there together and we hated to see her retire. She was a sweet lady and a blessing to all who knew her here in Manning. Take care of you for I know you will miss her.
Love and Prayers, Mary Ann Morris

Mary was a fine neighbor and friend many years ago. My memories of Mary consisted of her always caring for her children, getting involved with their sports as well as many school activities. We worked in Real Estate together as well. Mary taught me many things about the business. Mary was a very sincere and kind person. When Mary moved we lost contact with each other. My sincere sympathy to the family.
May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends.

“Can Peggy come out to play?” The neighborhood kids wanted Peggy to play 2nd base. They wanted me to clear right field of dandelions. Some people suggest we are Irish twins because we are only 17 months apart. In many ways she got all the good genes but she shared with me right from the start. Our mother told peggy not to feed the baby cookies. Peggy said, “I chewed them first”.
Peggy taught me to ride a bike. We had a 20” girls bike, no fenders and no brakes. I remember the initial effort and can still hear her warning me not to run into the tether ball pole in the school yard. I flattened it.
A few years later it was Peggy and Eddie incorporated. We would borrow the neighbors wagon and go door to door looking for newspapers to recycle. We got so many that sometimes the stack would fall over and we had a big mess. We would put them in the car and my mom would take us to the recycle place. We would make $2.00 to $3.00 and half went to the candy bar store.
Peggy’s patience was evident when she taught me to dance. (2 left feet). Her courage was realized when she taught me to drive. Peggy’s idea was to only wait at an intersection for so long and then you went no matter other traffic.
Peggy blazed a trail through life in so many ways. A piece of her joyful good nature will always remain in my heart.

Mary (Peggy) was an incredible sister-in-law whom I always considered a special friend. Such an incredible wife, mother, daughter, and sibling. She was very good at calming the waters. She was a peacemaker. Ed and I had such wonderful times with Peggy and Joe that always included mind and body healing laughter. We have lost a beautiful soul. Our love to Joe, Katie and Frank, Joseph and Mercedes and the beautiful grandchildren she cherished with all her heart. Ed and Glenda

Mary always put other people first. She was loving and caring to me, her grandchildren, and anyone else she knew. I remember when Lucas was born and was in the NICU, Mary came up to stay with us. Mary used my car so she could come and go as she pleased since Katie and I lived down there for a bit. The problem was, I listen to sport talk radio and Mary didn’t want to change the station. Every morning when Mary would come down she would give me the sports breakdown on the Mets and Yankees. Mary made the BEST, and I mean BEST rum cake anyone’s mouth has ever tasted. Mary and Joe raised two beautiful kids. Katie, the love of my life and Joe the brother I adore. My wife Katie is a strong woman, she is my rock and I know where she got it from. Mary you are loved and will be so missed.
Your son in law
Frank.

One of my mother in laws favorite things about visiting us in Vermont was going to Muddy Waters for their amazing coffee shakes! It was a “must-do” every visit…I love you Mary, always.
