Obituary of Beatrice B. Dilger Novello

Beatrice B. Dilger Novello, passed away on her 100th birthday October 16, 2021 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Beatrice was born October 16, 1921 in Matamoras, Pennsylvania, the daughter Jennie Geisenheimer and Joseph Dilger. Beatrice married Joseph L. Novello on June 1, 1946 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Harrisburg, PA. She was a faithful member of the Tree Of Life Lutheran Church in Harrisburg, PA. She loved bike riding, tubing down the Delaware River, the sun, scrapbooking, and visiting her family and friends. Beatrice is survived by several nieces and nephews; Richard Dilger, Dennis Dilger, Joanne, Dilger Muir, Paul Dilger, Joseph Dilger, Denise Dilger Keating, Jeanette Crane Curran, several grand, and great grand nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Novello, Jr., her sisters; Gertrude Marie Dilger and Jenette Dilger Crane, her brothers; Paul, Richard and Joseph Dilger and her nephew, Gerard Dilger and her great nephew, Jerry Dilger. Memorial services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Rev. Nancy Vonderhorst will officiate. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, PA.
