Obituary of Maxine M. McHugh Calandra

Maxine M. McHugh Calandra of Dingmans Ferry died peacefully at home on Sunday December 31, 2023.   She was 84.  

The daughter of the late Michael and Mary McHugh, she was born on January 19, 1939 in Scranton. 

Maxine lived and raised a family in Queens, NY.  In the last few years she chose to move back to her roots with her daughter.  

In addition to her parents Maxine was predeceased in life by her husband Joseph Calandra, daughter Jacklin Mathewson, siblings Patsy Dottle and Michael McHugh and her son in law Anthony Ippolitto.  

Beloved mother of Michelle Ippolitto, Albert Mathewson, Lynn Spadoni (Edward), Trina Mathewson and Joelene Mathewson.  She was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed. 

Services are private at this time.  Cremation to be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.
