Obituary of Kevin J. McKeon

Kevin J. McKeon, a lifetime resident of Port Jervis died on December 18, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. He was 66.

The son of the late Lawrence and Patricia Hicks McKeon, he was born on May 2, 1957, in Port Jervis, NY.

A 20-year employee of C+D Battery, he also worked at Symrise of Chester, and was currently employed at Kolmar Labs. He was a volunteer Firefighter for 40 years with Howard Wheat Engine #4, where he served in the past as Lieutenant and was the current Vice President.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased in life by his sons Kevin John, and Nicholas McKeon, his sister Maryann Potter, his brother Robert McKeon, and brother William McKeon and sister-in-law Karen McKeon.

Beloved husband of Patricia McKeon at home. Devoted Father of Matthew McKeon (Jessica), Manda Jergensen (Mike). Loved by his Grandchildren Ashley, Caitlynn, and Aubrey McKeon and their mother Sarah DeGroat. Brother of John McKeon and Thomas McKeon (Denise), Kathleen McKeon, and brother-in-law Russell Potter (Kathy). Dear Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 4 - 7:00pm at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY FUNERAL HOME, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY. Visitation on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 10 - 10:30am. Service 10:30am at the funeral home followed by Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
