The son of the late Paul and Mary Louise Johnson Hewel, he was born July 16, 1964 in Peekskill.

Peter loved to cook and entertain family and friends. He was famous for his lasagna, stuffed
shells and antipasto. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, and loved traveling to Puerto Rico, Saratoga
