Obituary of Jason C. Roeder Jr.

Jason Christopher Roeder Jr. of Matamoras PA passed away on November 14, 2023 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, he was 29 years old.

Jason was born in Port Jervis on September 25th 1994 to Jason and Deanie Roeder of Matamoras, who survive him.

Jason was a kind soul with the biggest heart one could have.  He loved his family, his loyal friends, and his precious little girls more than life.  At a young age Jason shared a passion for everything football, especially his Patriots. The bond he shared for the love of the game with his Dad, Uncle and Pop Pop produced many memories which will be cherished forever.  Jason had a way to brighten a bad day by simply cracking a dumb joke followed by a giggle and a huge grin. The grin that continued to melt his Momma’s heart for 29 years.

Jason was pre deceased by his maternal grandparents Edwin and Clara Wolven and paternal grandfather Melvin Griffin.

In addition to his parents Jason is survived by his sister Baylee Roeder of Danville PA, his beloved daughters Olivia and Avery Roeder and their Mother Sarah Egan of Matamoras, his paternal Grandmother Linda Griffin of Port Jervis, his Uncles Jason Wolven of Matamoras, John Roeder (Joy) of California, and Dave Roeder of Indiana and many loving cousins and extended family.

Visitation Saturday 11/18/23 from 11:00 AM to 1:00PM at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY 12771.  Funeral Procession will begin to form at 1:00PM for Interment at Pine grove Cemetery, Matamoras.
