Albert W. VanDerveer Jr. a lifelong resident of the area died suddenly on October 23, 2023 in Wurtsboro, NY.  He was 51.

The son of Elizabeth VanDerveer and the late Albert W. VanDerveer Sr. he was born on November 18, 1971 in Port Jervis, NY.

His family recalls him as a man who loved hunting, fishing and his motorcycles. 

Beloved husband of Tammy VanDerveer.  Devoted father of Shawn Babcock, Joshua Babcock, Antonio Beam, Dustin VanDerveer (Christy Stevens) and Albert VanDerveer.  Dear brother of Margaret Lynch, Stacey Devore, Brian VanDerveer (Thelma) and Raymond VanDerveer (Dawn).  Cherished nephew of Margaret VanOrden.  He was a grandfather, uncle and cousin to many. 

Visitation Monday October 30th from 2 to 5:00PM at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY.  Following the visitation a private cremation will be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.
