George C. Crary, Jr. of Sparrowbush, NY passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023 at home. He was 71.

 

The son of the late Cal and Hilda Crary, he was born on July 29, 1952 in Liberty, NY.

 

George had begun his career early on working at Giant Market in Liberty, NY and ShopRite of Middletown and Montague. He would go on to own and operate an independent Arnold Bread Route.

 

George was an avid deer hunter and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed being with his family most of all.

 

In addition to his parents, George was predeceased in life by his sister, Linda Mangan, and his uncle, Lamont Edwards, with whom he was especially close to.

 

Beloved husband to Christine Yaun-Crary at home. He loved his children and will be missed by Kami Lynn Crary of Long Island, with her husband Tony, George Crary III of Liberty, NY, and Thomas Crary with his significant other, Karlene McHugh of Cuddebackville. Loving Grandfather of Liberty Rae Crary; Dear Brother of Joan Healey of Wappingers Falls; Judy Sells of Atlanta, GA, and Hazel Yaun of Liberty. A great Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

 

Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
