Karen M. Satter of Westtown, beloved Wife, Mother and "Nanny" entered eternal rest on August 15, 2023, She was 80.

Born on the Upper West Side of Manhattan to Lillian and Richard Walsh she was the youngest of three girls.

Married to the love of her life, Charles L. Satter on October 24, 1964, they enjoyed many years of traveling together taking annual cruises, visiting different parts of the US, and enjoying the annual family trip to the Jersey shore with their grandchildren for 22 years. 

Karen enjoyed cake, sarcastic bantering with her son in law Neil and all dogs. She volunteered at Pets Alive where she could be around and help dogs that were waiting to be adopted. When her children were grown, she went back to work for Wakefern Corp as promotional rep handing out various manufacturer's products to sample. She was loved and affectionally known by her customers and co-workers as the "the Sample lady." She was a Wife, Mom and Grandmother who dedicated her entire life to her family. Lovingly known as "Nanny" to her Grandsons, her three "Special Angels," she was a constant loving presence in their lives since the day they were born. Karen is survived by her loving husband Chuck Satter of 59 years, her two daughters, Denise DiGiovanni and her husband Neil, NY, Lisa Zuleg and her husband Richard, Maine, her three Grandsons Ryan, Conor and Dylan DiGiovanni and Her Niece, Lynn Carey, Florida. 

She is predeceased by her parents Lillian and Richard Walsh, her Sisters Marilyn Flahive and Beverly Carey, and nephew John Carey Jr. 

Visitation and burial is private and at the convenience of the family. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Breastcancer.org and Stjude.org
