Obituary of Vivian N. McGaw

Vivian N. McGaw of Port Jervis died peacefully on July 5, 2023 with her family at her side.  She was 101. 

The daughter of the late Arthur T. and Emma S. (Krause) Aumick, she was born on January 8, 1922 in Matamoras, PA. 

Vivian was a former longtime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran, Port Jervis and the Clara Bradley Lodge Ladies Auxiliary.  Vivian’s family recall her feistiness and love for Bingo but will remember her as the matriarch she was.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased in life by her husband Ralph “Alfred” McGaw Jr., son Ronald A. McGaw and brother Theodore Aumick.
 
Devoted mother of Teresa I. Galloway with her husband Richard of Port Jervis.  Beloved grandmother of Mary Sauschuck, Regina Baumgardner (Charles) and Debbra Padgett (Robert Jr).  Dear great-grandmother of  Jerome Lomangino (Rachel), Dillon Sauschuck (Oliva), Daeryan Padgett and Logan Padgett.  Great great grandmother of Nathan, Lia and Connor.  

Visitation Monday July 10th from 11 to 12:30PM at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis NY 12771.   Funeral Procession will form 12:30PM from the Funeral Home.  Interment to follow Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras.
 
The family request donations in Vivian’s Memory be made to Humane Society of Port Jervis/Deerpark 202 US-209 Port Jervis NY 12771 or a charity of your choice.
