I always called her George. I first met George when my friend Kay needed someone to fill in for her as a babysitter for George’s daughter Penny. We were in our early teens. I remember being in high school and going directly to George’s house after school to watch Dark Shadows it came on around 3.30 or 4pm Our friendship continued into our 20s and early 30s Being around George was always an adventure and never a dull moment. She was a great friend, someone you could talk to growing up and she always made you feel welcome. Over the years I often thought of George and all the stuff we used to do. I always wondered where she was and what she was doing. After moving to VA in the early 80s I lost contact with her but I never forgot her. I thought she may have moved and I did not know she was still on Kingston Avenue. I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s tragic death.
