Joan A. Lane of Sparrowbush died May 10, 2023 with her family by her side. She was 83. 

The daughter of the late Melvin A. and Grace (Middleton) Decker, she was born August 30, 1939 in Claryville, NY.

She is survived by her husband Francis J. Lane. Beloved mother of Nancy Lane (life partner Karen Yamrus) of Dallas, PA, Caroline Pinzone (Sal) of Milford, PA, and Mickey Lane of Port Jervis, NY. Dear Grandmother of Sal J. Pinzone, Amy Pinzone, Peter Lane and  Kobie Lane. Great-Grandmother of Maeve, Henry, Ellie, and Ayla. Sister of Mel Decker along with his wife, Dorothy.

In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased in life by her son, Joseph Lane and her brother, Robert Decker.
