Obituary of Edith A. Giovanniello

Edith A. Giovanniello of Matamoras died peacefully on May 2, 2023 at Bon Secours Community Hospital.  She was 90. 

The daughter of the late Annibale & Sophie Ferraro, she was born on September 29, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY.  

Edith served as an Executive Secretary for many years under the NY Stock Exchange.  She was a devout a practicing Roman Catholic reguarly attending Mass until her health began to decline in recent years.  Her family recalls her love for traveling and Frank Sinatra but stated that she loved her family and spending time with them more then anything.  

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Vincent Giovanniello and siblings Dolores Clinchot, her twin sister Sue Alfiero, Grace Bonadonna and Joseph Ferraro. 

Beloved mother of Vincent Giovanniello II (Deborah) and Barbbara Tilelli (Joe).  Dear grandmother of Elizabeth Tilelli, Gina McDonald, Vincent Giovanniello III, Nancy Giovanniello and Rocco Giovanniello.  Great grandmother of Vincent Giovanniello IV.  Sister of Frances Barrera. Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  

Memorial Visitation Saturday May 13th at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY, from 1 to 3:00PM.
