Obituary of Pearl E. Fisher

Pearl E. Fisher, a lifelong resident of the area, died on April 23, 2023 at St Joseph’s Place, Port Jervis, NY.  Pearl was 86.

 

The daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Van Horn) Spears, she was born on March 28, 1937 in Port Jervis. 

 

A member of the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, she was a Sunday School teacher, loved singing in the choir, and will always be remembered for making Crosses and Christmas Cards that she gave out to all throughout the year with a smile. She was also a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Sparrowbush Fire Department.

 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in life by her husband Albert Fisher; Her son David Fisher; Grandchildren Travis Holmes, Beatrice Amato, Alex Fisher; Her brother Charles Spears; and Her daughter-in-law Denise Fisher.

 

Beloved Mother of Carolyn West (Bill Callas), Beverly Calben (Craig), Joan Decker (Robert Kowalczik) and Peggy Holmes (Joseph). Grandmother of 17, Great-Grandmother of 29, Great, Great-Grandmother of 3. She held many children and grandchildren in her heart. »(Do not delete this line. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, 44 Main St, Sparrow Bush, NY 12780.
