Cathy and I grew up in Sparrow bush and shared a seat on the school bus for years,and although we didn't stay in touch as we grew older,I have many fond memories.She was a kind,sweet person ,rest in peace my childhood friend

I met Cathy while working in retail, with Mary Costner, Glenda and many others back in the early 1980’s. Cathy was a very kind, happy person. I cannot remember a time when she wasn’t smiling, enjoying life. I remember many moons ago when she found John who completed her life, who together have a beautiful family. I lost touch with Cathy and John, even before my own marriage in 1991, but Cathy gifted me her Wedding Dress for I could not afford one, that was Cathy, who she was, giving, caring, loving. A beautiful person gone too early. My heart and love go out to John, her family and friends. Love Denege ❤️

I'm am so very sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. We spent several years working together at Kmart. Many fond memories of this sweet lady. She always had a smile on her pretty face. May she rest well with the angels and the family find comfort with each other and the assurance that we will all be together again.

I met Cathy 38 years ago at Kmart where we worked together and we became instant friends! Cathy was such an amazing person! She was easy to love and loved others to the fullest! I moved to NC in 1990 and we remained close through all of the years. We went on trips together, visit each other in NC and NY, I will always treasure our deep bond. Fly high my friend…love you more …
