John W. Beach, a longtime resident of the area died on March 25, 2023. He was 80.

 

The son of the late John and the late Marion (Myers) Beach, he was born May 24, 1942 in Sayre, PA.

 

John served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. Serving as a staff sergeant, he would also gain top-secret clearance as a crewmember aboard B47 Bombers. Proud member of Mensa High IQ Society for over 50 years.  He retired after 35 years of dedicated service as a Broadband Engineer from Frontier Communications.

 

Beloved husband of 57 years to Gayle Beach. Devoted father of Melissa Wolff (Michael), Col. Michael Beach (Christine), Heidi Walker (Damon), and Heather Beach. Brother of Marian Boutet (John). Grandfather of eight.

 

Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 10:30am-12:00noon at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771. A life celebration will be at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home.
