Jane Pendell Brace on March 4, 2023. Jane peacefully passed away at Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice, the day after her 92nd birthday. She was born March 3rd 1931 to Richard Pendell and Myrtle Whitaker Pendell of Rio, New York.
In 1950, Jane married Theodore “Ted” Brace, they made their home in Montague, New Jersey, where they raised their family and were very active in the community and church. She served at Minisink Reformed Church as a Deacon and Elder, member of the Consistory, the Ladies Guild and Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of Montague PTC and served on Montague school board for many years. Member of Montague Republican Club, Port Jervis Antique Study Club and Port Jervis B.P.W.
She was predeceased by her parents, and brother Dick Pendell and loving husband, Ted.
She will be missed greatly by her family and treasured friends. Visitation will be, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY FUNERAL HOME from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, a program very close to her heart.
