They say the Lord works in strange ways. That is probably true, but sometimes his hand in our lives is plain to see. Like the blessing of a great mom. It is clear to me that God watched over my sisters and I through our wonderful, caring, and loving Mom. We could never have asked, or wished for, a greater gift. So painful for us is her passing, but we were lucky to have her for 86 years and lucky to have the beautiful memories that she has given us. Memories that we shall carry with us in our hearts for the rest of our days. All we are and all we have today is because of her. Thanks Mom! Love, Mike & Dianne

I will never forget a trip to Microtel with Grandma Frannie. The words she used are best not repeated, but lets just say the room was not cleaned and she was to be sure that eeeeevryone knew about it. .......there was poo on the sheets.

She did not have an easy life but taught me about forgiveness when she could have easily and justifiably refused to do so. She taught me that a hard life can be a good life too; it doesn't have to be easy to be full of love, celebration, and adventure. My grandmother was very much my second mom. She was there every day before and after school, we would talk for literal hours on the phone several times a week. I grew up feeling like she was very much a part of me. She gave me my first chapter book and I have always loved mysteries because of Nancy Drew. I would watch a black and white VHS of the Addams Family at her house while eating Elios pizza, a root beer float, and Tootsie rolls from her glass candy jar. I am going to miss her more than I can say. I wish I had every phone conversation on tape, could remember every moment.
