Obituary of Wayne Hoffman

Wayne Hoffman of Cuddebackville died on February 6, 2023 at Garnett Health Medical Center after a short illness. He was 70. 

 

The son of the late Walter and Olive (Culver) Hoffman, he was born November 19, 1952 in Middletown, NY.

 

Wayne worked in his life as a farmer on the family homestead in Cuddebackville; as a logger for Mello Logging; and as a maintenance man for the YMCA Camps of Greater New York.

 

He was a past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Mamakating Lodge No. 2036, past member of the Huguenot Fire Co., and past member of the Cuddebackville Sportsman Club. 

 

Survivors include his children Shawn Slattery, Annie Hoffman, Katie Hoffman-Michelson, Stephanie Santiago, and Walter Hoffman. Grandfather of Roger, Zachery Kelly, Shane Slattery, and Soraya Santiago. Brother of Donna Nolte and Sharon Breitweiser. Uncle to 1 niece and 5 nephews.
