Obituary of Andree Christopher

Andree Christopher a long time resident of the area died on January 23, 2023 at home.  She was 58.  

The daughter of the late Francis E. Newcomb III and Barbara Ann Lehn, she was born June 20, 1964 in Poughkeepsie, NY. 

Andree was an avid basketball enthusiast and lover of all things guitar, composing, playing or listening.  She ventured out west in life living in Arizona, California and Colorado.  She returned home to Port Jervis later in recent years to assist caring for her mother Barbara Ann until her passing.  

Andree is survived by her sister Adrienne Scurtu along with her husband Mircea of NC.  Her nephews Alexander & Gregory Scurtu also of NC.  Andree leaves behind many cousins and extended relatives as well. 

She will be interred privately at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sparrowbush.
