Obituary of Jenny K. Stangenberg

Jenny K. Stangenberg of Sparrowbush died on December 28, 2022 at Westchester Medical Center.  She was 92.

The daughter of the late Anton and Helen Telesmanic she was born on April 21, 1930 in Manhattan, NY. 

Jenny served professionally as a secretary for many top companies in her career retiring in the end from Lighthouse for the Blind.  She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church in Port Jervis.  Jenny will be remembered by those who loved her as a classy woman who always dressed for the occasion with her favorite being the family dinners that she will never be the same without her.  

In addition to her parents Jenny was predeceased in life by her husband Charles and brothers John, Mario, Nicholas and Sam Telesmanic. 

She is survived by her children John Stangenberg (Ann Marie) of Montgomery, Jeannie (Steve) Hawley of Yorba Linda CA, Joann (Harry) Weimar of Virginia Beach VA and Janet (Marc) Dockery of Walden.  Grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 5.  

Visiting Sunday 1/1/23 from 2 to 5:00PM  at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis.  Funeral Monday 9:00Am from the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass 10AM St. Mary's RC Church.  Interment to follow St. Mary's Cemetery.
