Both Gram and I loved taking rides around for lemonade or ice cream. On these adventures we’d listen to some good ol’ classics and she’d even sing along with me upon occasion.
I’ll definitely be looking back often; feeling great nostalgia.
Miss ya gram❤️

When my mom and her sister Kay were children, they use to go to Sparta, Virginia (where they were born) every summer to be with their dad’s family . My mom used to love talking about the times she spent in Sparta, Virginia as child.
Memories are a part of the family history.

My dear beautiful, Aunt Sandy, may you rest in eternal peace. I have such fond memories, especially in my childhood of you. You were kind, soft spoken and so welcoming every time I was at your home. Always a beautiful smile. Some of my fondest memories are of holidays, picnics, etc.. Being with you and your family and grandma… My heart is warm that you and my mom reconnected later in life and she’s so counted on you. As I know you counted on her, she adored you. Much love to you and prayers that you are at peace and re- connected with my mom again …. May God hold you both gently. With much love and sadness, Pam

Mom was such a beautiful woman and she seemed happy all the time.
I remember when mom, dad and I went for a walk just to get some grapevines to makes wreaths. Mom and I pulled on one together and fell on our butts and we just laughed.
We loved going shopping together.
I remember going to Walmart and I grabbed a pillow with a deer head on it. I put it in my cart hesitating if I should buy it. I put it down somewhere else in the store. When I went to moms house a few days later, there was that pillow on her bench. I told her that I had that in my cart but I put it on a shelf on the other side of the store. We just laughed.
Mom had a recipe for the peanut butter squares they served in the cafeteria at lunch time and she gave it to me a few years ago. That was my favorite dessert when I was in school.
We always laughed.
I remember when mom, Tammy, Violeta and I went fishing and we tried to start a fire to cook our hotdogs. We had fun trying to figure out how to start a fire from sticks and rocks. We all laughed so hard that day. I forget how we got the fire started but we had a great time that day.
I also remember when mom, Tammy and I went a bus trip to the casino. Tammy had us taking turns pressing the buttons. We had a great day that day.
Lots of memories that will last a lifetime ❤️
Mom always said that I could write a book. I have so many memories with mom and dad. I miss mom, dad and Bill so much but I know they are all together now .
Mom might be gone but she will always be in our hearts ❤️

Aunt Sandy was always an extremely kind lady, and always had a smile on her face. She was a very quiet lady and always took care of her family. Will miss her smiling face and demure personality.
