Obituary of Shirley E. DeGarmo

Shirley E. DeGarmo of Matamoras died peacefully at home on October 29, 2022.  She was 85.

The daughter of the late Delbert Sr. and Lillian DeGroat she was born August 16, 1937 in Glen Spey, NY.  

Alongside her husband, Shirley was an intricate part in the Avalanche Ski Club helping to keep it going for its members. 

Beloved wife of William DeGarmo at home. Devoted mother of Glenn DeGarmo of Honesdale and Allen DeGarmo along with his wife Kimberly of Matamoras.Dear grandmother of Christina, Cynthia, Cassandra, Joseph, and Charynn. Great grandmother of Grayson and Piper. 

The family will receive guests on Wednesday 11/2/22 at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, from 11am to 12:00 noon.  A service of remembrance will commence at 12 noon.  Immediately following, interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.
