Obituary of Dawn R. Newman

Dawn Renee Newman passed away on October 10, 2022 at Montefiore St Lukes Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus after a long illness. 

Dawn was born on October 1, 1963 in St. Francis Hospital, Port Jervis.  She was the daughter of Connie McBride Newman and the later Walter John Newman Sr.  

Dawn was a graduate of Port Jervis High School, a life member of Roosa-Fleming 161 VFW Auxiliary and worked as a secretary for many years.  

She is survived by her mother Connie Prynkiewicz of Port Jervis.  Mother of Rhawnie E. Kupfer and her husband Ryan of St. Petersburg, FL.  Niece of Charles McBrideof Port Jervis.  Aunt of Jessica Smith, Emily Devoid, Walter J. Newman.  Great aunt of Nathanial Newman.  Companion of John Reese.  

Dawn was predeceased in life by her father Walter J. Newman (Bud), her stepfather Stanley Prynkiewicz and her brother Walter J. Newman (Chip).  

A private cremation will take place followed by inurnment at Pine Hill Cemetery in the family plot.
