Obituary of Dennis A. Gorman

Dennis A. Gorman formerly of Chester, NY & Cocoa Florida died peacefully on Saturday October 8, 2022 with his family at his side.  He was 78. 

The son of the late John J. Sr and Ann Gorman he was born July 8, 1944 in Manhattan, NY.  

Dennis was a retired NYC Transit Police Officer having served twenty years.  Upon his retirement he wore several different hats up till the end. He worked as a real estate agent with Central Valley Real Estate and even a blackjack dealer with Sterling Casino Lines.  Affectionately known as Geppetto by his family in more recent years, Dennis took up the craft of woodworking having proved a true talent for it.  His family will never be able to see a bonsai tree ever again and not think of Dennis an his cared for collection of them. 

Beloved husband of 58 years to Joyce Gorman.  Devoted father of Annmarie Fisher (Kenneth), Linda Linderman (Tony Rosado) and Dawn Klotz (Joseph).  Cherished Poppie of Kayla, Sarah, Marissa, Courtney, Joshua, Katie, Shannon, Paulie and Danny.  great poppie of Brooklynn, Ricky and Kade.  Dear brother of the late John J. Gorman Jr.  

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday October 14, 2022 10AM at St. Mary's RC Church 50 Ball Street Port Jervis NY 12771.
