Obituary of L. Diane Hartwell

L. Diane Hartwell a former longtime resident of Port Jervis died on October 3, 2022 at Delaware Valley Skilled Nursing, Matamoras.  She was 79.

The daughter of the late George and Eva Startup, she was born October 5, 1942 in Deerpark.  

Diane was a dedicated Lunch Lady at the Port Jervis High School for many years.  She was a longtime member of the Deepark Reformed Church.  Diane was a kind sweet woman that loved her family with her heart. 

Devoted wife of the late William Hartwell Sr.  Beloved mother of William Hartwell Jr and his wife Jessica of Milford.  Cherished grandmother of Timothy, Matthew and Morgan.  Dear sister of Keith Startup (Pat) and the late Russel Startup, Elizabeth Jean Jones and Barbara "Bobbi" Schock.  Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  

Inurnment Sunday 10/23/22 3:00 PM at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.
