Julio Petitti of Port Jervis died October 2, 2022 at Bon Secours Community Hospital.  He was 92.

The son of Anthony & Victoria Petitti, he was born August 31, 1930 in Port Jervis, NY.  

Julio served with the US Army during the Korea Conflict.  Former member of local AARP and Past Acting President.  He was a fond member of the Tri-States Railway Preservation Society also serving as its Past President up until his health began to decline.  Julio was a longtime member of St. Mary's RC Church and the Mount Carmel Society also serving as past President.  

Beloved husband of Anna Petitti at home.  Devoted father of Joanne Duffield and her husband William of Levittown, PA, Andrew Petitti of Port Jervis and Jeffrey Petitti of Mountain Home, Idaho.  Dear brother of Louise Latini and the late Virginia Petitti.  Julio was a grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather who will be missed. 

Services are private, Julio will be buried in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis as he wished.  

The family requested donations may be made to the Minisink Valley Historical Society or the Tri-States Railway Preservation Society.
