Obituary of Michelle Lorraine Ferrante

Michelle L. Ferrante of Monticello died suddenly at home on September 21, 2022.  She was 52.  

The daughter of Patricia Lynne Roberts Teutsch and the late Dennis Roberts, she was born July 28, 1970 in Alexandria, VA.  She was a Croupier at Resorts World Casnio, Catskills.

She followed the conventional norm by going to college, all while managing a full time career and being a devoted mother, graduating from the University of Maryland with highest honors.  Michelle earned two degrees, one in Microcomputer Systems and the other in  Business Management from UMGC, and was pursuing her Master's in Business & Management.   Later  Michelle would listen to her heart and began a career as a professional poker player.  It would lead her to travel and even poker tournaments for charity where once she raised over $100,000.  Taken so suddenly and soon Michelle's loss leaves an unspeakable void in the lives of her family, she was a ray of love that warmed everyone she met.  

She leaves behind her heartbroken husband David Ferrante also of Monticello.  Beloved mother of Justin Russell (Lisa), Matthew & Anthony Ferrante.  Her mother Patricia Lynne Roberts Teutsch.  Grandmother of Brayden Macute and Gavin Russell.  Cherished sister of Chris Teutsch, Jamie Snyder (Peter) and Michael Teutsch.  Dear aunt to her nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive guests on Friday September 30, 2022 at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY from 3 to 6:00 PM.  Following the viewing a private cremation will take place.
