Julia “Ann” McElroy of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 16, 2022. She was 86.

The daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Hamilton, she was born October 7, 1935, in Port Jervis, New York.

Beloved wife of the late Larry McElroy. She was a devoted mother to her  children: Mark McElroy, Julie McElroy, Kelly Buda and her husband Mike Buda, Becky Fuller and husband Roger Fuller. She was also a loving grandmother of seven and great grandmother of five. She was a dear sister to Josephine Mosher, the late Jean Hammond, sister-in-law of Edson Mosher and the late Nelson Hammond. A dear aunt to many nephews and nieces. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention her beloved dog, Elizabeth Taylor.
