Obituary of Anna Rizzitano

Anna Rizzitano of Sparrowbush died September 14, 2022 with her daughter by her bedside.  She was 91.  

The daughter of the late Gaetano & Romina Gigliotti she was born January 12, 1931 in Calabria, Italy.  

Anna was a woman of profound will and determination, coming to a foreign country with difficulty speaking English she found herself widowed at a young age left to raise a daughter alone.  When one might succumb to grief and fear of the unknown she persevered and overcame many obstacles that life threw at her.  A woman of faith, she was a devout Catholic. 

Devoted wife of the late George Rizzitano.  Beloved mother of Georgiana Regalbuto of Sparrowbush.  Loving grandmother of Joseph Pesce his wife Amanda and Anthony G. Regalbuto.  Dear sister of Linda Mancuso.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 16th 9:00AM at St. Mary's RC Church, Port Jervis.  Entombment to immediately follow St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx NY.
