Obituary of Joyce A. Davis

Joyce A. Davis a lifelong resident of Sparrowbush, died September 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was 85. 

The daughter of the late Robert C. And Frances Robinson, she was born January 28, 1937 in Sparrowbush.

A lifetime member of the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church she provided selfless service as their organist, Lay Leader, Sunday School Teacher and the Church & Mission Builders. Through her life of service she also served the Sparrowbush Fire Department as their Chaplain, Ladies Auxiliary and Fire Police.  Life member of Eastern Star River Valley Chapter 33 serving as the District Deputy Grand Matron in 1974.  

Beloved wife of the late William Church Davis.  Devoted mother of April Dudko with her husband Peter of Telford, PA and Jean Doe along with her husband Kenneth of Sparrowbush.  Grandmother of Elizabeth Fantini, Jessica Smith, Walter Newman III and Emily DeVoid.  Great grandmother of Raiden Neuman, Nathaniel Newman, Victoria Newman and Ann Smith.  Dear sister of the late Robert Robinson.  Fond aunt of several nieces, nephews and great nephews.  

A memorial service will be held at the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church 11:00AM on Saturday September 24, 2022.   Please see service information below for further details.
