Brianna and her Aunt Sherry were alike in so many ways. They both were nurturers - Sherry when it came to children and Brianna when it came to animals. When Brianna was little, I thought she looked a little like her Aunt Sherry. When it came to driving - they both had a heavy foot. Brianna was also good at caring for people. She was a blessing to our family taking care of my mother, her grandmother Marie Cramer. I'm sure Sherry is taking her under her wings and all four of them (Sherry, Ernest, Marie and Brianna) are watching us from above.

To my big sister: The only person I’ve ever seen order a salad and then tell the waiter to hold all the ingredients besides cheese and lettuce. The girl who would always seem to be running around in a towel searching for clothes when my friends were over. The girl who would bring me out to dinner but conveniently leave out the fact that we were going to the barn first to shovel muck. The girl who greeted my boyfriend with “hi, nice to meet you, welcome to the crazy”. My quirky but loving big sister. I will make sure your kids know what made you special and I will help nurture those attributes in them. I will love them twice as hard. And they will know you and be better for it. I love you.
